In 2012 the HB1261 to eliminate General Assistance in Pennsylvania was enacted in spite of the petitions from the citizens; in spite of the public displays; in spite of the court battles and law suits.  It is now 2015 approaching 2016 and many have lost focus about helping our fellow citizens in need of assistance from our tax dollars.  Our nonprofit organizations, legal community, and concerned citizens can be inspired because the Harmonious Volunteer Center has continued to address the concerns of our friends, families, and neighbors.  Since we serve these disadvantaged, underserved citizens on a daily basis, we had to come up with some alternative measures and we have become successful.  We have enacted several programs that produce the needed revenue stream to of a financial benefit to helping our neighbors.  You can contact Irvin B.
